Colorado National Monument Officials Looking For Vandalism Suspects

FRUITA, Colo.- Officials with the Colorado National Monument are asking for the public's help in identifying those responsible for the recent vandalism in the White Rocks area.

The graffiti covers a section about 5 feet by 12 feet in gray spray paint.

Officials say the vandalism took place in the White Rocks area located on South Broadway at the base of Gold Star Canyon in the Colorado National Monument.

Anyone with information on this crime is urged to call 712-1497.

Callers may remain anonymous.

If they had done it 1000 years ago, it would be viewed as a monument now. Instead, it's "vandalism."
