Colorado Lawmakers Debate Gun Bill

DENVERColorado lawmakers will be debating a Republican bill requiring business owners top hire armed security guards if they ban patrons, legally carrying firearms, from entering their store.

The bill is opposed by gun control advocates and business groups.

Because of the overwhelming opposition, the bill isn't expected to pass through the committee.

The same senate committee voted down a bill Monday which would have allowed school employees to carry concealed firearms.

The dems have a professional blame thrower in the WH, if he doesn't know how to do anything else, he knows how to throw blame. And at present, he and his cohorts across the country are going out of their way to blame and punish the law-abiding citizens of this country for owning guns. We, the law-abiding citizens of this country, did not do the shooting in New Town. If anything, it was the liberal ideas of posting no gun zones that pulled the trigger in that and every other mass shooting in this country.

If the government doesn't want to let us protect ourselves then I say yea.. ARM THOSE GUARDS! If Obummer has a right to be protected by ARMED GUARDS than I do as well!

I no longer recognize the "authority" claimed by my government. They've surrendered it by virtue of their own actions. It would behoove them to look up the words "inalienable" and "infringe". They should also remember, last time a government attempted dis-armament against Americans, it ended in a shooting war. The difference being, king george had an ocean between himself and his "subjects". Modern politicians do NOT enjoy that separation. Many of us will not only embrace the title of criminal, we'll go out of our way to EARN it. The liberal media should probably take notice too. We the People are not unaware of your transgressions...

Colorado elected Democrats, what do they expect ... rational behavior? The only people that Democrats think ought to be responsible for anything are Republicans/Tea Party ... and they are responsible for everything bad. Democrats, of course, are responsible for everything good. What bull. That being said, this is dumb. Any business that prohibits self-defense ought to be civilly and criminally liable for any harm that comes to anyone dumb enough to patronize them.
