DENVER- A new report card has some bad news for Colorado's dental industry.

It shows that Colorado is in the bottom third of states when it comes to preventative dental care for kids. This lack of care can have negative impacts on speech, nutrition, growth and social development.

Officials recommend that kids get their first dental checkup by the time they are two years old, and continue to go every six months. The Colorado Health Report Card shows that one in four children has not gotten dental care in the last year.

Could you update the full report link? It is not coloradohealthreportcard.com, but coloradohealthreportcard.org. Thanks! :)
