Steve King should introduce a bill. Owning a gun while being stupid causes increased deaths. I guess his driving above 5 nano-grams of marijuana blood test statistics were all a big lie aren't they Steve. Looks like his stats were completely made up! Seams that more people die from firearms every year than were killed in both wars too. Steve King should be ashamed that he continues to mislead the people of Western Colorado on the dangers of marijuana. Steve King needs to go! Out with king first chance we get!

Dear Western Slope person, Go burn a fat one and relax before you have a conspiracy break down. You're starting to sound like you fit the stereotype.

Dear get a grip, ok let's see you defend Kings driving while high bill. You can't do it! Go back and read King's fanatical rants about how if his DUID bill wasn't passed there would be a blood bath of innocent people dieing on the roads at the hands of pot smoking drivers. I think you are the one who can't live in reality. King has an agenda, he's a prohibitionist who thrives on keeping marijuana illegal,, why, because he has special interests that profit of keeping pot illegal. Don't be fooled, just wait and see him squeal when amendment 64 passes this November!

So what exactly are these special interests that King has?

So what exactly are these special interests that King has? Easy, Police Unions, Prison Guard Unions, Alcohol industry lobbyists and probably many more. Follow the money, always follow the money!

Dig deeper. 78% of those gun deaths were suicides. There were 567 deaths by falls that year and 647 by poisoning. The "accidental" gun deaths? JUST 7. YES, JUST 7 ACCIDENTAL DEATHS. Many of the homicides? Drug related. Suicides are sad, but suicidal people will find other ways if they don't have a gun.

Looks like we've got too many people in prison because of marijuana use, and obviously we've got too many guns, especially handguns. Why can't people come to reasonable agreements on how to solve these problems?
