Colorado 16th Best in Tax Index Study

While filing those tax returns, it may be comforting to know that recently Colorado was ranked in the top 20 states with the best tax index in the nation by the Washington nonprofit Tax Foundation.

States with high scores show that those tax systems are set up to be more favorable to businesses. The study said that in comparison Colorado has relatively neutral taxes on general sales, individual and corporate income, and property taxes.

Colorado moved up one spot in the State Business Tax Climate Index this year with Wyoming taking first and New Jersey ranked as having the worst tax index in the country.
