Colo. Planned Parenthood Supports HB-1081

DENVER- A bill that would change the way students are taught about sex in Colorado classrooms advances after its first hearing.

HB 1081 would create new statewide standards for teaching abstinence and safe sex.

Parents would be required to opt-out, instead of the current requirement that they approve participation for their children.

The bill would also create a grant program, to help schools get federal money to implement expanded instruction if they choose.

Alison Macklin, from Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountain's testified Thursday in support of the bill stating that "it's imperative that sex education is taught in schools. We know that in Colorado, 61 percent of high school students report having had sex by 12th grade.
We want to ensure that our future leaders have the knowledge and skills to make the best decisions for them, whenever that situation arises."

PP is not as popular now so they are working at whatever it takes to get more funding to support their lurid lifestyles. Killing babies has been a very good money maker for them, they don't want it to stop.
