GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - On Friday night Club 20 honored seven longtime members for their service to the organization during their annual award banquet.

Many community members and leaders from all over Western Colorado attended the event.

The awards ranged in honoring leadership to putting aside differences and working together for the common good.

"These people are really the leaders of our community and they have been there, they've done that. A lot of them are older, they've made a life of standing up for Western Colorado and so it's really a great experience," said Steve Reynolds, Chairman of Club 20.

The John D. Vanderhoof Award was presented to T. Wright Dickinson of Maybel.

The Preston Walker Award was presented to Tom Kleinschnitz of Grand Junction.

The Lyman Thomas Award was presented to Dave Ubell of Olathe.

The Dan Noble Award was presented to Garfield County Commissioner John Martin.
