Climber Falls to Death Near Boulder

BOULDER, Colo.- It was a dangerous weekend for climbers in the Boulder area.

One climber, identified as a 28-year-old man, died after falling down Boulder Canyon and landing on a road in front of a group of people.

He was reportedly with a group trying to make his way across the top of a rock formation to set up a rope.

Boulder Canyon had to be closed as search and rescue teams responded.

In an unrelated incident, another climber was injured west of Boulder.
