CLIFTON, Colo. - A call of a suicidal male ends in two people being sent to the hospital with possible gun shot wounds.

Deputies with the Mesa County Sheriff's Office say they responded to 3302 Delicious Drive at 5:25 p.m. and before they got to the front door they heard what they believe to have been a single gun shot from inside.

Officials say two adults came outside the home, a man and a woman, both suffering from possible gun shot wounds.

Authorities say they believe the male was the same person who prompted the suicidal call.

The extent of their injuries are unknown, but officials say both people were in fair condition while being transported.

A third adult and two children were inside the home at the time of the shooting but were not injured.

Deputies are currently investigating the scene.

No one has been detained and authorities say there are no other suspects involved.
