Clerk and Recorder Seeking Input on Election Conduct

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Mesa County Clerk and Recorder, Sheila Reiner is asking the public's suggestions on how to improve election conduct on the state and local level.

The meeting will be held Tuesday (Jan. 29), at the Mesa County Courthouse in the Public Hearing Room at 2 p.m.

If you can't attend, you can email suggestions geared towards local policy, to Sherila.reiner@mesacounty.us, or elections@sos.state.co.us for suggestions geared towards state rule or statute.

It's a shame that the Clerk & Recorder can't schedule public meetings more than a couple of hours ahead of time.

Does this fall under the Sunshine Law, whereby more advanced notice is required?
