GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.-
The nationwide tour and director for a documentary being recognized by the Academy Awards stopped by Grand Junction on Monday.
The documentary, CinemAbility discusses the portrayal of disabled actors in film and television.
The film features several well known actors such as Ben Affleck, Jamie Foxx, and Helen Hunt.
This independent film is receiving high praise, including from the Academy Awards, which recently announced the film qualifies for their Documentary Category.
"We cover from the silent era to today; everything from the Hunchback of Notre Dame to Nemo, the clown fish with one small fin, and everything in between," explains CinemAbility's Director, Jenni Gold.
Gold is promoting CinemAbility from Hollywood, all the way to New York City, where the documentary will be aired in Times Square.
