GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Several chefs from popular restaurants stopped by the KREX studio on Tuesday, to promote this year's Girl Scouts Cocktails and Cookie Creations event.

Seven area cooks participating in the upcoming event had to pop a balloon to learn which cookie they're going to cook with.

The dinner is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Girl Scouts and officials say the funds they receive are vital.

“So this actually funds our programs and funds our salaries,” said Cindi Graves of Girls Scouts of Colorado. “This enables our girls to do these programs on this side of the state.”

This year's Girl Scouts Cocktails and Cookie Creations event will be on Friday, April 19th from 5:30 to 8:30 pm at the Two Rivers Winery.

Pre-ordered tickets are now available at girlscoutsofcolorado.org.

All dishes must be savory and be flavored with the cookie the chefs randomly selected. The following are the cookies each chef chose:

Bin 707 Foodbar - Tagalong
No Coast - Trefoils
Cowboy and the Rose Catering - Savannah Smiles
Suds Brothers Brewery - Do-Si-Dos
Western Colorado Community College Culinary School - Savannah Smiles
CRAVING - Samoas
il Bistro - Thin Mints
