Celebrities Head to Grand Junction to Campaign for President Obama

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- As Election Day approaches, both candidates are ramping up their campaign efforts.

Some celebrities are trying to win Colorado votes for the president by stopping through Grand Junction.

On Monday, Amy Brenneman, the star of "Judging Amy" and "Private Practice," will be hosting a grassroots event at 5:45 p.m.

She will be helping rally support for the president at the Grand Junction Obama For America Field Office next to Pier 1.

Jon Hamm, who stars in the hit series "Mad Men," will be in town Saturday.

Hamm, along with Jennifer Westfeldt, Zach Quinto and Laurence Fishburne will be going door to door through certain Grand Junction neighborhoods starting at 4 p.m. asking for your support.

At 7 p.m. there will be at a pizza party behind Pier 1 for a grassroots Obama rally.

WTF: If you think the last 4 years were bad try letting this clown have another 4 when he doesn't have to worry about re-election. Any other incompetent, dishonest exec would have been fired long ago. I am spinning in my grave.

i'm going to the homeless shelter to pick up a bunch of people and bring them down for some free pizza. Then these celebrities can see first hand what Obama's economy has done for them.

There is NO ideal candidate. Several million folks are now aware that their ideal candidate of 4 years ago was lying through his teeth. There may not always be a BEST choice, but there certainly is a BETTER choice. O has to go. Make it happen !
