Celebrate Colorado Day with Free Entrance to State Parks

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Colorado Parks and Wildlife is celebrating our great state by offering free entrance into any state parks for one day.

Aug. 6 was named Colorado Day by the state Legislature. It's to mark the anniversary of the statehood, granted in 1876 by President Ulysses S. Grant.

To honor this day, anyone can enjoy Colorado state parks free of charge.

For a list of all parks you can go to parks.state.co.us.
