Case Against Former Palisade Music Teacher Moves Forward

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - A former Palisade music teacher accused of sexually assaulting a young girl goes back in front of a Mesa County judge.

James David Tiner, 59, appeared in court Tuesday.
Tiner, who was also known as "Music Dave," is accused of sexually assaulting a young girl who took music lessons in his Palisade home.

Multiple graphic videos and photographs of the victim, as well as other photos of unknown underage females were found in his home.

After being wanted by the FBI, Tiner was arrested on the front range.

Tiner has been charged with mutliple counts of sexual assault on a child.

A preliminary hearing has been set for April 29 at 9 a.m.

Tiner was arrested in New Castle. Since when is that the Front Range????????
