GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- It was a messy commute for some on Tuesday, who were traveling eastbound on I-70.
There were heavy traffic delays on the popular interstate after not one, but two separate rollovers happened just three miles away from one another.
According to Colorado State patrol, both accidents happened just after 6 a.m.
The first accident occurred at mile marker 53, after a driver rolled their 2005 Chevy Trail Blazer.
Officials say they were later transported to Saint Mary’s hospital for what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.
The second accident happened just three miles away at mile marker 50. Authorities say a driver flipped their white ford truck over.
Officials have not yet confirmed if either crashes are weather related. However, one man who claims to be the driver of the truck, Eli S., wrote on our Facebook page saying he was driving slow and hit a patch of ice. He says he’s okay.
