Candidates Clash in Presidential Debate

by KREX News Room
by Christina Marrazza

NEW HEMPSTEAD, N.Y.- Millions tuned in Tuesday night for the second of three presidential debates.

The town hall style debate was held at Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y.

President Barack Obama promised to be more aggressive than he was in the first one, and he lived up to that promise.

However, Mitt Romney did not back down.

An initial CNN/ORC poll showed 46 percent of overall debate watchers believed the president won, while 39 percent thought Gov. Romney won.

I think Hoftra is in Hempstead, NY - on Long Island. New Hempstead is in Rockland county, a suburb north of Manhattan.

Obama might have been a little more aggressive but that didn't stop his lies. Obama didn't say what he would do for the next four years because he hasn't been told that information yet, he isn't trusted by his own party so why should the rest of us trust him?

Obama never told us what he will do for the next 4 years.... Romney did.. Oh, and by the way, CNN's Candy Crowley... showed her colors.. leaning way to the left.....

I love the presidential debates. So much information and light is brought into the lap of us Americans. Things we may or may not have known about. I think that these informative debates remove the blanket that shields us from knowing the actual truth and reality we innocently exist in. These debates should occur once every year to keep the public informed and in the loop, while keeping our leader sharp and on his/her toes. We would then see every presidents success and or failure. Our decision in choosing our next leader would be made simple in that we the people, could make the choice based on the strong successful track record and outcome and not a failed outcome based on mirrors and smoke. An Educated, Safe, Strong, Fearless, Healthy, Effective, Prosperous, AMERICA FOR ALL, should be our only prerogative.
