FDA Approves Tuberculosis Drug Co-created By CSU Scientists

FORT COLLINS, Colo.- Scientists at Colorado State University teamed up with the company Johnson & Johnson back in 2007 to create a tuberculosis drug called bedaquiline.

After years of testing, the Food and Drug Administration has given their approval for the break-through medication.

University officials say Colorado State is known internationally for their tuberculosis research programs.
