CSU Takes Part in World's First Long-term Canine Cancer Study

FORT COLLINS, Colo.- Colorado State University is conducting the world's first long term study on canine cancer and other dog diseases. CSU is teaming up with the Flint Animal Cancer Center and the Morris Animal Foundation for the Golden Retriever Lifetime Study.

The study will span 10 to 15 years using 3,000 dogs.

It will be the most significant study ever conducted in veterinary medicine.

According to the CSU press release, the study may not only improve the health of dogs, the answers may help people, too.
