by KREX News Room
by Jordan Sherman

RIFLE, Colo.- Colorado Parks and Wildlife officials have closed two state park beaches in Garfield County due to low water levels.

They say the water level is now 30 feet below capacity, resulting in an unsafe environment for swimmers.

The beaches will be closed the rest of the summer to swimmers, but will remain open to anglers and boaters.
