CMU, Salvation Army Provide Thanksgiving Dinners

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - On Monday, Colorado Mesa University's food service, Sodexo, along with the Salvation Army, will provide Thanksgiving Meals to an estimated 3,000 people in the Grand Valley.

About 95 turkeys have been donated for the cause. Volunteers will start carving turkeys at about 10 a.m. on Nov. 19 and continue through Tuesday and Wednesday.

In addition, Sodexo will prepare about 94 gallons of gravy and more than 400 pounds of turkey for the holiday.
