GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- If you'd like to check out some job opportunities, then Colorado Mesa University is the place to be.

On Thursday, the university is hosting the Spring Connections Career Fair. The event is free to attend and lets participants gather details on job opportunities both locally and nationally.

The career fair is attracting 49 vendors, including NewsChannel 5. The event goes from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. It's being held in the University Center ballroom.

Officials say parking on campus during the fair will be free, but any vehicles parked in handicap spots, loading zones or fire lanes will be ticketed.
