GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo.- The Colorado Department of Transportation is taking it's vision of Glenwood Springs' Grand Avenue Bridge to the streets.

According to the Post Independent, CDOT officials are hosting two separate public sessions where people can literally see, using story poles, the various bridge width and height options being considered.

The events are at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Thursday, March 7, at the Seventh Street "wing" street.

During that time, the street will be closed.

The new bridge is in line to receive $59-million in Colorado Bridge Enterprise funds, which are designated for repairing and replacing obsolete bridges in Colorado.
