GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - The local business incubator is receiving global recognition.

The Business Incubator Center has beat our nearly 7,000 incubators in the world as a finalist for "Incubator of the Year."

"We're one of the best practices in the industry because we do bring all the ED partners, stakeholders and everybody into our community to find the best way to help our businesses grow and really be successful and help get our community going and so it's really validation for that," said Jon Maraschin, Executive Director of the Incubator Center.

Over the last 25 years, the Business Incubator Center has helped launch more than 260 companies and created more than 10,000 jobs in Mesa County.
