Business Incubator Gets $50K Grant

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- The city of Grand Junction has granted the Business Incubator a $50,000 check to go toward getting small businesses off the ground.

The check was originally supposed to go toward relocating the Business Incubator to a downtown location, but complications led the city to reallocate the funds to go to future entrepreneurs.

"We expect to try and allocate these funds so three or four businesses will be able to be helped with this funding," said Dean DiDario, loan manger for the Incubator.

The Business Incubator has funded over 330 businesses over its 23-year existence, which has led to $156 million in revenue and the creation of over 10,000 jobs.
