LOVELAND, Colo.- Officials say no explosives were found Wednesday after two buses in Loveland were searched following a passenger's report of a bomb.

The Trailways buses were en route from Salt Lake City to Denver, with a scheduled stop in Fort Collins.

The buses were rerouted to a bus stop and deputies evacuated 96 passengers.

Larimer County Sheriff's spokesman John Schulz says 66-year-old Roland Arel, of California, was detained.

Officials says Arel is believed to be a transient who boarded the bus in Salt Lake City.

Authorities got a call about the passenger and contacted Roland on a cellphone and he came out voluntarily.
