MESA COUNTY, Colo.- A wildfire caused homeowners in parts of eastern Mesa County to be under a temporary pre-evacuation notice Tuesday.

Officials say an emergency alert went out to 548 phone lines within a five mile radius around 51755 KE Road.

Several hours later the pre-evacuation order was lifted.

With approximately 120 firefighters, including two Type 2 Initial Attack Crews and three BLM squads, plus ten engines and three water tenders, crews have aggressively attacked the Bull Basin Fire.

Crews will remain on the fire overnight and will continue to aggressively attack the fire Wednesday morning.

The Bull Basin Fire is roughly 20 acres and is burning on private land approximately one mile southwest of the town of Molina.
