GARFIELD COUNTY, Colo.- Drivers may have experienced some issues traveling through the Silt area Saturday due to a brush fire.

Garfield County fire officials reported that the eastbound portion of Interstate 70 was shut down for several hours as a result of flames believed to be eight miles from Silt.

There is no word yet on the size of the fire or how close it is to the highway, but officials say all lanes of I-70 have been reopened.
