CENTENNIAL, Colo.- The Denver Broncos started their training camp on Thursday, as fans and players watched the Peyton Manning era of Bronco football begin.

Both Manning and the other players were thrilled about the first day and expectations about what the season will bring.

"I'm excited that training camp is here. I look forward to training camp because that means football is getting closer and I do think this is important work for us. Getting to work on multiple things is important to me, another big step for me," explained Manning.

When speaking about Manning, Lance Ball, running back for the Broncos, said, "He's a player slash coach. He wants things precise. He wants to be at a certain point at a certain time. To be a young guy and see him when I was younger, I take appreciation of that and try to make him happy."
