GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Boy Scout Troop 303 are out selling hundreds of Christmas trees to benefit their local chapter.

The 30th annual tree lot sale for Troop 303 is now in a new location off of First Street and Patterson Road, just west of the Community Hospital Outpatient Surgery Center.

In the first 24 hours of them being open, they sold more than 200 trees and have 600 more available in varying price ranges.

"It depends on their height, so it can go anywhere from $40 to $150 depending on what type of tree you get," said Wyatt Jeffery, boy scout, Troop 303.

The trees are from Oregon and were cut fresh Tuesday.

They say the trees should last at least until New Years.

The money made goes toward Troop 303 to help pay for expenses and camps.
