GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Members of the Blue Angels made a visit to Colorado Mesa University on Friday.

The members spoke to a crowd of health students and professionals about different medical programs offered by military services.

“Showing everyone what I’ve been able to do over the last seven years or so, is great,” said flight surgeon Lt. Cmdr. Jason Smith. “It just opens their eyes to a whole different world, a whole different side of medicine they didn't know existed.”

Smith provides care to 150 squadrons of the Blue Angles.

He says he enjoys traveling all around the country and teaching local residents about these services.
