Bebb-Jones Pleads Guilty To Killing Wife

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo- The long-standing question of whether Marcus Bebb-Jones killed his wife, Sabrina, back in 1997 has been revealed.

Bebb-Jones, the British man who was suspected for his wife's death, pleaded guilty Friday morning to Garfield County officials.

A press release from the 9th Judicial District Attorney's Office says Bebb-Jones pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, with a heat of passion, on his wife, Sabrina Bebb-Jones back in September of 1997.

Bebb-Jones' sentencing hearing will be on May 1 at 8:30 a.m. and according to the plea agreement, his sentence will be no more than 20 years.

Bebb-Jones reported his wife, Sabrina, missing when the two owned the Melrose Hotel in Grand Junction.

Sabrina's skull was discovered in 2004 in a remote wooded area on Douglas Pass in the northwest part of Garfield County.
