WESTMINSTER, Colo.- As hundreds continue their search for Jessica Ridgeway, a missing 10-year-old Westminster girl, new clues are guiding the course of the investigation.

Jessica disappeared Friday morning at some point during her walk to school.

Officials say a backpack has been found that is believed to belong to the girl.

Investigators say an unidentified man sent an email to police claiming he found the backpack, along with a water bottle belonging to Jessica.

The search is now being focused on Superior, which is next to Westminster, because of where the items were found in the Rock Creek subdivision.

Police spent Sunday sealing off the Rock Creek subdivision.

The find is considered to be a big break in the case.

Multiple agencies are involved in the search, including the FBI, the Adams County Sheriff’s Department and a Rampart Search and Rescue Team.

A dive team was also called out Saturday afternoon to Ketner Reservoir to search the lake.

Ridgeway weighs 80 pounds and is 4'10" with blue eyes and blond hair that is shoulder length. She was wearing a black jacket at the time of her disappearance.
