BLM Seeking Input on Well-Known Camping Site

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- The Bureau of Land Management wants to hear from the public on its new camping permit system for the popular Ruby-Horsethief Canyon section of the Colorado River.

The BLM will host a public meeting Tuesday, Jan. 15, to collect data before beginning the second year of its camping permit system for the site.

Officials will also share data collected during 2012, provide updates on how they felt the system worked, and ask how boaters felt about the site.

The meeting runs from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Two Rivers Convention Center.

The B.L.M. needs to keep that land available for construction of the new F.E.M.A. re-education camp for firearm owners and veterans.

Don't forget that the airport wants to take a couple thousand acres of BLM I mean public land.

Funny the BLM wants to ask. They will just do what they please and keep closing off more of the peoples land. My bad I meant the BLM amd Forest Services land they own it and allow us the honor of getting to visit. Oh and don't forget we must pay an arm and a leg just to walk onto there property.
