Authorities Search for Suspect in Convenience Store Robbery

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Authorities are searching for man who robbed a Grand Junction convenience store late Wednesday night.

Mesa County sheriff's deputies say a white male walked into the Loco convenience store at 573 32 Road and handed the clerk a note that read, "give me all the money."

As the clerk read the note, the suspect reportedly punched him in the face. Officials say the clerk gave the man some money and the suspect fled.

As of Thursday night, no arrests had been made.

too bad these stores don't have any cameras on to view the robbery, most stores don't record and most locos don't even have any cameras,so crooks and crooked employees,here's your big chance. and yes, i have worked at many convenience stores so don't even try to argue that they are safe, looking out for the welfare of customers or employees. three times in the last year activities occurred that should have been "caught on camera" . one at a local loco and twice at a maverick. lock your cars.
