Authorities Release Identity of Snowmobile Fatality

DELTA COUNTY, Colo.- Delta County Authorities release the name of the Illinois man who died Monday while snowmobiling up on the Grand Mesa.

Mike Fonderoli, 31, from Cherry, Illinois, was fatally injured while riding with a large group of snowmobilers north of Paonia near the Electric Mountain Lodge around 11:30 a.m..

The man was airlifted to Delta Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Officials with the Delta County Sheriff's Office say they're still investigating the incident.
