GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - Authorities with the Grand Junction Police Department say just after 8 p.m. Tuesday night a man armed with a hand gun entered the Burger King on North Avenue and demanded money.

Authorities don't believe there were any customers inside the restuarant at the time, but there were four employees who were forced inside one of the coolers.

One of the employees were able to get out after a few minutes after the suspect had already fled on foot with some of the money from the resturant.

After authorities responded a K-9 unit was called in to track the suspect who headed west bound from that area. The dog was able to pick up a scent until the trail went dead.

Authorities are still investigating this case. The suspect is described as a black male wearing a red hoodie and a red mask.
