Authorities Identify Body of Surfer Found in River

GARFIELD COUNTY, Colo.- The Garfield County Coroner's Office has released the identity of the long-boarder who drowned in the Colorado River Wednesday.

Officials say 52-year-old Scott Young of Eagle went into the Colorado River and did not resurface.

Young's body was found at mile marker 121 along Interstate 70 between the Grizzly Creek rest area and the No Name rest area.

Young was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
