GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- For the first time in thirteen years, the author of Colorado's Biggest Bucks and Bulls has released the newest edition of the popular series.
Susan Reneau stopped in Grand Junction this afternoon to meet local hunters and sign the third edition of her book.
The book features thousands of photos and stories from hunters across Colorado.
Reneau says Darryl Powell, the owner of Darryl's Taxidermy Shop, has been her go-to person for finding stories from Western Slope hunters.
"I would say a third of the people mentioned in this book are from Mesa, Delta and Montrose Counties," said Reneau. "So they're your neighbors, your brothers, your sisters, your children."
Reneau will hold another book signing at 2 p.m.Thursday at Barnes and Noble in Grand Junction
Copies of all three editions of the book series will be available for purchase.
