CENTENNIAL, Colo.- As folks in Colorado and around the nation mourn the victims of Friday's shooting in Aurora, prosecutors are turning their attention on building a case against the man believed to be behind the tragedy.

This weekend authorities swept the home of James Holmes, 24, for evidence. Officials say they will look at things like the sophistication of the traps set, and take a look at how long Holmes had supposedly been collecting weapons and ammunition.

Holmes' first court appearance will be 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Arapahoe County Court House.

Authorities have disclosed that Holmes is refusing to cooperate and that it could take months to learn what prompted the horrific attack on midnight moviegoers at a Batman film premiere.

James Holmes has been held in solitary confinement at an Arapahoe County detention facility. He has been assigned a public defender, and according to Aurora Police Chief Dan Oates has "lawyered up" since his arrest early Friday.

Holmes has been held without bond at the lockup in Centennial, about 13 miles from the Aurora theater.

On Monday he will be advised of the charges against him, and he could also face additional counts of aggravated assault and weapons violations.

Friday's shooting left 12 dead and 58 wounded, some critically.
