Attic of Grand Junction Home Becomes Fully Engulfed in Flames

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- The Grand Junction Fire Department had its hands full early Wednesday afternoon after an attic of a Grand Junction home became fully engulfed.

Authorities responded to the house fire at 2937 Wellington Ave. around 11:30 a.m.

“This seems like a lot of fire, but it's really up in the attic and some cellulose insulation that burns pretty good,” said Mike Page with the Grand Junction Fire Department. “You can see the number of roofs coming together; that's always difficult to get firefighters in to where the fire is at, and that's why they’re having some trouble and struggling to get the fire completely out.”

The cause of the blaze is still under investigation, but officials say the fire likely started outside the home, before extending into the attic area.

Grand Junction fire officials say no one was injured, and four pets that were missing were eventually found alive.

Let's see, was that 2937 Wellington Avenue??? Why are you giving out the address three times? Other than that, the story was completely devoid of any news content.
