Attempted Robbery Suspect Appears in Court

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- A Grand Junction man accused of attempting to rob Bank of the West on Seventh Street and Wienerschnitzel on North Avenue appeared in court Tuesday morning.

Police apprehended 56-year-old Robert Buch Tuesday around 1:30 p.m. after witnesses identified him as the man who allegedly tried to rob the two businesses.

Buch is due back in court Dec. 4 for the formal reading of his charges.
