Arson May Be Behind Aurora Apartment Fire

AURORA, Colo.- Investigators now believe arson is behind Monday night's fatal apartment fire in Aurora.

According to KCNC, officials close to the investigation say a tenant may have started the fire and is now a person of interest.

Residents are being asked for information regarding the man.

Officials say the person of interest has lived in the apartment building for two years.

Earlier, residents reported seeing someone running from the scene with a gas can, others say police recovered a gas can from a dumpster behind the building.

The fire killed two and injured others.

Officials say the fire happened just a block from where police say the suspect in the Aurora shooting lived.
