GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- The Home Improvement and Remodeling Expo is back for its 35th year.

Organizers say it took them about six months to plan the expo.

They expect about 4,200 people to attend over the course of the weekend, including some vendors that travel from other states to attend.

"Why not here, look at this[ as he points], there's a lot of lovely people. We got great scenery and I see people jogging and 'hey, it's a beautiful thing, water-less cookware'," said Alberto Cabilan, chef with Kitchen Craft.

There's over 80 booths that provide products to help improve homes, yards and gardens.

The expo goes on from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, at the Two Rivers Convention Center.

It costs $5 for adults, $3 for children and seniors, and $15 for a family.
