Appeal Made to Higher Court to Save Dutch the Dog

MONTROSE, Colo. An appeal has been made to reverse the ruling for Dutch the dog. Dutch made headlines after he was ordered to be euthanized, following an attack on the dog's ex care-taker.

While the whereabouts of Dutch and his owner, Jeremiah Aguilar, are still unknown to officials, attorney Amy Ondos has filed the appeal.

The case is now in the jurisdiction of Montrose County and a judge will set a date for an appeals trial.
