Alleged Armed Robbery Leaves Business Shaken Up

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- An alleged armed robbery left one business shaken up after reports came in Saturday night of an employee who was hit by an intruder wielding a knife.

Just before 7 p.m. Grand Junction Police Officials responded to Smoker Friendly, a business located at 2692 Highway 50, for an reported armed robbery.

Officials say a male suspect hit the employee who was working behind the counter at the time. The suspect reportedly had a three-inch knife and demanded money before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a 40-year-old white male, wearing a green coat with a gray hood.
