Ammunition Limits Heads to Governor's Desk

DENVER(AP)- Ammunition limits have cleared Colorado's Democratic legislature and will head to Governor Hickenlooper's desk, who has said he will sign the measure into law.

The 15-round magazine limit would make Colorado the first state outside the East Coast to ratchet back gun rights after last year's deadly shooting sprees.

Colorado lawmakers decided to keep negotiating on a bill to expand background-check requirements to most private and online gun sales.

The measures are part of a Democratic gun control package that has been the focus of much debate, drawing thousands to the state capitol over the past week.

We need to clean up our state government and clear out the wackos, both liberal and republican. They have no right to mess with the 2nd Amendment. These gun laws aren't popular and these laws are being driven by a radical fringe.

To bad, the Dems will pay heavy price at the election booth in 2014! The Hick won't see re-election and we will probably lose a few Senate seats to the Republicans! Hope you Dems that supported this knee jerk legislation think it was worth it! I'm a Dem and I'm voting against any Dem that voted for this in my district!
