Allegiant Air Offers New Flights out of Montrose

MONTROSE, Colo.- There's big news for travelers out of Montrose.

Allegiant Air announced Tuesday that they are offering new nonstop flights from Montrose Regional Airport to Oakland and Phoenix.

The new flights will operate twice a week starting Dec. 15.

According to officials, the Telluride Montrose Regional Airport Organization has been researching and pursuing bringing the low-cost carrier to their area for more than a year.

Finally. Discount flights to more cities. Nice job! More tourism dollars and easier and cheaper access for locals. Another win-win for local tourism.
