Alcohol and Speed Possible Factors in Fatal Accident

DELTA COUNTY, Colo.- Authorities suspect alcohol and speed as factors in a deadly early morning crash.

According to the Colorado State Patrol, the accident happened on Crawford Road near the town of Hotchkiss.

Authorities say just before 3 a.m. Wednesday, a pickup truck caught fire after veering off the road and going airborne.

Authorities say 23-year-old Cole Garber of Crawford was killed in the crash.

The accident remains under investigation.
