A New Look for Junct’n Square Pizza

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Junct’n Square Pizza is known all around for their deep dish pies and tradition. But after three weeks of construction the restaurant is ready to bring a little more style to their location.

The Grand Junction staple has been around for over 35 years. However as the previous owners hand over the torch to their daughter, the store is also getting a complete face-lift.

"You can expect a fresh new atmosphere with some of the latest trends and designs," said Katie Lewis, contractor with Signature Homes of Colorado.

Contractors say the popular pizza shop will have a more metropolitan feel to it. Which is a new, fresh look they feel will help the downtown area as whole.

“Grand Junction is a growing community,” said Justin Ganzer of Signature Homes of Colorado. “It’s important to grow with the times and to just bring up the environment down here.”

But as they remove old furniture and add new floors, textures and materials to the restaurant, one familiar item will remain in clear site.

“You will still see an art glass feature that used to hang in the window and has hung in the window for many, many years,” said Lewis. “That is the focal point of the restaurant. It will be in the main dining area.”

Officials are hoping the new look will help continue to draw in crowds for years to come.

You can check out their new look when Junct’n Square Pizza opens on Monday. They are located at 119 N 7th Street in Grand Junction.
